2024 August Reno/Sparks Polka Dot Powerhouse in-person meeting

2024 August Reno/Sparks Polka Dot Powerhouse in-person meeting
POSITIVITY - CONNECTION - COLLABORATION - CELEBRATION
We are not your typical networking group. We are a connection company! It is our mission to connect the world’s most positive, action-forward, amazing women to build lifelong friendships and business relationships. We invite you to learn, make connections, be inspired, and meet other growth-focused women. We welcome all women who are looking to be an active participant in a supportive community of women, so working in or on a business is optional. Polka Dot Powerhouse is an International organization known for a no-drama culture – it is women supporting each other as we all strive to be our best selves. Open the door to possibilities as you learn and grow with like-minded women. What is possible in your life? If you've been feeling disconnected or out of touch lately, then this is the meeting for you! We'd love to have you connect with our community. Invite your friends and let's celebrate and support each other! Guests are welcome to attend one meeting for free as a non-member.
When entering South 40 from the entrance facing South Meadows, we will be in the meeting space to the RIGHT of the entrance by the green wall. Look for the Polka Dot Powerhouse banner.

As the daughter of a female health coach and granddaughter of a human rights activist, Anna’s passion
for exercise science and helping people started early. Throughout her life her athletic journey has evolved, but strength has been a mainstay. Suffering from low hormones, amenorrhea, hypothyroidism, h-pylori, and SIBO, she’s faced her own share of health struggles. But as Gabby Bernstein noted, “obstacles are detours in the right direction,” and this held true in Anna’s case. As a mother, Anna found true clarity, not only in her purpose but also in her community.
Nutrition, mindset, building movement, and recovery serve as pillars of her health approach. Anna’s goal is to help as many women as possible through the hormonal journey that is adolescent, premenstrual, perimenopause, and eventually menopause, including rebranding menopause and educating men as to how they can be part of societal evolution.
Anna graduated with a BA from the University of Washington, completed her Nutrition Consultant program with Honors at Bauman College, and is currently certified through the American Council on Exercise.

TOPIC: Women vs. Men, Hormones, and the Menopause Transition
Join women’s health educator Anna Jamtaas, to discuss why women are not simply small men, and how women should be approaching women’s health differently. Anna will discuss how and why hormones shift between perimenopause and menopause, common symptoms, risk factors as well as recommendations for women at any stage. Lifestyle, nutrition, key supplements as well as the hot topic of hormone replacement therapy will be covered. Hopefully, by the end of our discussion, you leave feeling more educated and empowered in making personal health choices!
