Cari Powers became CaPow The Trainer when she left the corporate world in 2015 to help women feel like superheroes through health and fitness. Cari first got into fitness after losing 90 pounds in 2005 and it all started when she fell in love with step aerobics - the first exercise she'd ever done that didn't suck! She loves helping women find exercise that doesn't suck because then they stick to it and accomplish their goals! Cari is a certified personal trainer, weight loss specialist, MS fitness specialist, and a certified nutrition coach. She was diagnosed with MS in 2021 but she's not letting it slow her down and she's excited to help people with physical limitations find movement that works for them. She moved to Boise in 2013 for her husband's job and now identifies as a Boise native. :) She has many nieces and nephews and she's everyone's favorite auntie. She loves cooking, drinking fancy cocktails, traveling, and reading all the books. In the past several years, she's averaged over 100 books a year.
