Dec 18th - Chapter Meeting, Hybrid 4:30pm EST

We look forward to seeing you at our monthly connect.  The meeting typically runs for 2 hours from 4:30-6:30pm; we do follow an agenda set by Polka Dot Powerhouse and your participation is encouraged! You will be given an opportunity to introduce yourself, learn about Polka Dot Powerhouse, Celebrate, share events and be inspired and empowered by our speakers!  Please join us at 4pm EST for 30 mins of open networking, We will start the meeting promptly at 4:30pm!

Topic:  Professional Does Not Equal Perfect

Empowering the women to be able to see that professional does not mean someone is perfect. Professional is a description of how one shows up. Shinning light on the fact that we are all humans and we can self-define how we want to show up in our lives and careers. Often times people see professionals as perfect with everything put together. We have seen it time and time again where someone we respect in the public eye has a scandal or personal matters that end up impacting their professional lives. The key is to always compare yourself to yourself and to see professionals as just other people, like ourselves. I will share my journey, and how I show up everyday to the best of my ability.  As well as how the Dots has been there along my entire journey helping me grow, embrace who I am and ultimately thrive. Be yourself, be humble, and do right by others.
